My first blog

Hello Dallas,

Unfortunately, the Dallas Mavericks made an exit from this years playoffs by getting spanked by the Denver Nuggets. Now I am happy that the Mavs ended up getting this far because in March I was still wondering if they were going to make the playoffs, but this defeat shows that the Mavs yet again can't compete. The Devin Harris trade is still a big concern to me because Devin Harris has developed into an all-star point guard with the Nets and we have a good player in Jason Kidd who could not handle the ball in the series. Having a point guard who can take care of the ball is a need, but when we play teams like Denver who create turnovers and convert them into quick points, a team must have a point guard who can take care of the ball. Devin Harris is that man and until we see another point guard like him, the Dallas Mavericks will not be making another long post season run for a long time. Now on the positive front the Texas Rangers are the last team to watch unless you are into summer football. The Rangers are 20-14 and have another little mini winning streak going. How this team wins is beyond me, but somehow they find a way. Now I am not going to predict the Rangers in the playoffs because the season is still young and the Rangers always get plauged by injuries, but this team can win this division if they can pitch through August. The Angels rotation has had problems with injuries and they are just starting to turn it around it looks like, but they still have a lot to prove. The Mariners look good also, but the rangers are 5-0 against them showing that so far they are the superior team. And Oakland, they are still the pathetic team that they have been for the last few years. With Josh Hamilton back, ths team has a great chance of finnishing May 10 games over .500. They have a much better defense with Elvis Andrus anchoring the line and great pitching from not only Milwood and Padilla, but McCarthy, Feldman, Francisco, and so on.
